Welcome to Jñāna (“we”, “us”, “our”). Jñāna is a digital wellness platform providing access to pre-recorded classes, lectures, practices, and educational materials rooted in Eastern wisdom traditions (the “Service”).
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of:
our website, web app and mobile applications;
all video, audio, written, or other content made available by us (“Jñāna Content”);
any subscriptions, purchases, or other features offered through the Service.
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by them.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is not directed at persons under 18 years of age.
2. About Jñāna
Jñāna provides:

3. Eligibility

4. Health Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk
The practices offered on Jñāna may involve physical movement, breathwork, meditation, and contemplative exercises. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

The content is informational and educational only.

You must consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new physical or breath-based practice, especially if you have pre-existing conditions, injuries, are pregnant, or have concerns about your health.

You participate entirely at your own risk.

You understand that any physical or breathwork activity carries potential risks, including but not limited to dizziness, discomfort, injury, or in rare cases, more serious harm.

You agree to stop immediately if you experience discomfort or adverse symptoms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Jñāna and its teachers, contractors and employees from liability arising from your participation.
5. Licence to Use the Service
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service and Jñāna Content for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:

share your account or allow others to access your subscription;

download, copy, screen-record, distribute or create derivative works of Jñāna Content;

use the Service for public performances, teaching, training or commercial activity;

reverse engineer, scrape, alter, or interfere with the platform.

All intellectual property rights in the Service and Jñāna Content remain exclusively with us and our licensors.
6. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellations
6.1 Subscription Model
Access to the Service requires a paid subscription. Subscription types, pricing and features are displayed at checkout and may vary by region.
6.2 Free Trials
If offered, free trials convert automatically to paid subscriptions unless cancelled prior to the end of the trial period.
6.3 Billing
By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
Prices may change; if so, we will provide advance notice before the next billing cycle.
6.4 Cancellations
You may cancel at any time.
You will retain access until the end of the current billing period.
No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless required by law.
6.5 Third-Party Payment Providers
Payments are processed through third-party platforms (e.g., Stripe, Apple, Google Pay). Their terms also apply.
7. No User Uploads or Submissions
The current version of the Service does not allow users to upload or submit content (including video, audio, images, journals, or written posts).
We therefore do not collect or licence any user-generated content for reuse.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:

access the Service in any unlawful or fraudulent manner;

share login credentials or access accounts belonging to others;

copy, redistribute or exploit Jñāna Content;

disrupt the platform, introduce malware, or attempt unauthorised access;

use the Service while operating dangerous machinery, driving, or in unsafe environments.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
9. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, service marks, images, scripts, designs, teacher content and videos are the exclusive property of Jñāna or its licensors.
No rights are granted to you other than those expressly stated in these Terms.

We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or services.
12. Availability, Changes & Updates
We may update, modify, or remove features, classes, teachers, or content without notice.
We may suspend the Service for maintenance or technical reasons.
We reserve the right to discontinue the Service entirely.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if:

you violate these Terms;

payments fail;
-
we discontinue the Service.
Upon termination, your licence to use the Service ends immediately.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
we exclude all implied warranties;
we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages;
our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid in the previous 12 months of your subscription.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, fraud, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded under UK law.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Jñāna, its teachers, contractors, and employees against claims arising from:

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the Service or these Terms.

If changes are material, we will notify users through the Service or by email.
Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
